Welcome to the Hollingbourne Cricket Club website
The club was formed in 1870 and used to play in Eyhorne Street. The club moved to Pilgrims Way some years later.
We are affiliated to the England & Wales Cricket Board and the Kent Cricket Board. We play League Cricket on Saturdays in the Invicta League and on Sundays in the Kent Village League. We also play Midweek friendly matches, and also organise and play in a local Twenty/20 Competition.
In 2008 we started our Junior Section and had a good response with 30 Juniors registering for Coaching. In 2009 we grew that number to 40+ by linking in with a local club - LBH and our local school. We currently have 6 UKCC Level 2 qualified Coaches and during the 2009 season we achieved ECB's Clubmark Accreditation.
Clubmark is the ‘kite’ mark promoted by our governing body, the ECB, to protect the welfare of young people in Cricket. This is important to us to achieve this status as it confirms that in the eyes of the ECB we are a safe, effective, and child/youth friendly club.
We are always looking for new players, officials, committee members, general volunteers and spectators so if you're interested please check out our fixtures and come along, you will always be welcome.
Junior Autumn Cricket Coaching started on Wednesday 7th October and will run for 10 weeks until December 9th. Boys and Girls aged 6 to 16 are welcome (£3 per child).
